Volunteering for Lifeline
Lifeline relies on the time and efforts of more than 11,000 volunteers Australia wide. These volunteers work in a number of capacities; delivering Lifeline's national and local services, raising funds, working in Lifeline stores or conducting administrative duties. The possibilities are endless and volunteering is an enriching experience for both the indivdiual and Lifeline.

Volunteering Opportunities
There are a number of different volunteering opportunties at Lifeline Centres around Australia. You can choose a form of volunteering that suits your skills and interests, the amout of time you have to give and the location you would like to work at. Here are some examples of volunteering opportunities that may be available at a Lifeline Centre near you:
- Become a Lifeline Volunteer Telephone Counsellors
- Work in a Lifeline retail outlet
- Help out with a Lifeline book fair
- Participate in fundraising events or activities
- Assist in administration and office activities at a Lifeline Centre
- Provide your expert skills or services in a pro-bono capacity, e.g. a professional photographer may like to volunteer their skills at Lifeline events...
